SAGA Jewelry is co-founded and operated by Sasha and Andy, a couple that met in Bali during the pandemic. Inspired by a shared desire to channel their creativity, they embarked on a journey to create something entirely their own.
"Both of us were craving change, eager to break away from our old routines and pursue a path that offered fulfillment and autonomy," Andy reflects. "We realized that pursuing a traditional career no longer made sense; instead, we sought satisfaction in meaningful work that granted us freedom and purpose."
A dream come true
Their entrepreneurial endeavor, however, proved to be a labor of love. "It's quite amusing," Andy remarks, "we find ourselves working even harder than before! With just the two of us, I manage the technical aspects—coding the website, handling product photography, and branding—while Sasha oversees product design, production management, and occasionally still crafts some pieces by hand. We're embracing the journey with enthusiasm and learning every step of the way."
"It's a dream come true," Sasha says, "as a former professional stylist, I always envisioned creating my own brand, crafting pieces that resonate with others and evoke a sense of empowerment. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do; their stories and feedback fuel our passion."
Production
Each creation by SAGA Jewelry is a testament to their dedication to detail. "We take pride in every piece we produce," Sasha explains. "Our collection is designed to be timeless and versatile, allowing our customers to effortlessly mix and match.
We prioritize quality, investing time and effort in sourcing the finest materials and refining our production processes, all while keeping our products accessible." We still live in Bali part time and produce all of our products here – it's a special place that keeps inspiring and surprising us in positive ways.
As they look toward the future, Sasha and Andy are excited to see where their journey will take them. "SAGA is ever-evolving," Andy says. "But what matters most is that we enjoy the process and create something that also brings joy to others."
