The idea of SAGA was born during a trip to Bali, Indonesia, a place known for its creative and inspiring atmosphere. The name SAGA has two meanings: it is an acronym of the founder's name and surname, and it also references "a long, involved story" – your own personal saga.
Meet the founder
After earning a degree in Architecture, Sasha began working in the field, designing residential and commercial spaces as well as fashionable interiors. In addition to her professional work, she also pursued her passion for art and sculpture.
As her career progressed, Sasha discovered her true calling as a wardrobe stylist. She has worked on fashion shoots for leading magazines, designed costumes for theater productions, and collaborated on advertising and film projects in locations around the globe, including Paris and New York.
According to Sasha, "it's not just about choosing the right clothes, it's about telling a story." This philosophy is evident in the design and inspiration behind every piece of SAGA jewelry.
Production
At SAGA jewelry, we are committed to using only the finest, sustainable materials in our jewelry, including 925 sterling silver, 18-karat gold vermeil, freshwater pearls, gemstones, and Japanese threads. We also strive to minimize waste in the production process, which is why some of our pieces are made to order.
